About This Festival
More than 100 talented chefs, restaurants, and beverage artisans gather to celebrate North Texas' diverse food culture at the region's largest culinary event. Dallas Chefs for Farmers Food and Wine Festival, hosted at the historic Dallas Heritage Village, draws approximately 2,500 attendees who sample creations from notable vendors like Petra & The Beast, Roots Southern Table, and Carte Blanche. Guests enjoy everything from elevated street tacos and house-cured charcuterie to craft cocktails featuring local spirits and an extensive selection of wines from Texas and global vineyards. Local jazz ensemble The Texas Gentlemen provides live entertainment throughout the day while guests explore themed areas like the grilling pavilion and artisanal cheese market. The festival highlights sustainable farming practices through partnerships with over 50 local farms and ranches who supply ingredients to participating chefs. A unique "Chef's Garden" feature allows visitors to learn about urban farming techniques and sample fresh produce directly from on-site growing demonstrations.
