The story

About this festival.

La Cosecha Grand Tasting is the Mexican American Vintners Association's signature summer tasting of Mexican-American-owned wineries, held at Heirs of My Dream Winery, 22985 Burndale Road, in Sonoma, California. The 14th annual edition was Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 4:30 to 9 PM. The Grand Tasting ($150) ran 4:30 to 7 PM with unlimited pours from MAVA member wineries across California, Latino-inspired small bites, live acoustic music and a silent auction for MAVA's scholarship and education programs.

An after-party add-on ($50) opened at 6 PM with a live band, dancing, two glasses of wine and food for purchase until 9. Dress code was wine country chic; the event is 21 and over, rain or shine. MAVA represents the growing group of vintners and growers of Mexican heritage in Napa and Sonoma, many of them families who worked the vineyards before owning them.
