About this festival.
Lafayette Art & Wine Festival is the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce's free two-day street festival along Mount Diablo Boulevard in downtown Lafayette, California, on September 19 and 20, 2026, and one of the largest weekend events in Contra Costa County with more than 65,000 visitors. Art and handmade crafts fill the boulevard, top local restaurants sell food, and wine and microbrews are poured by the glass, with the Premier Pavilion serving wines from the Lamorinda Wine Growers.
Four stages run non-stop music for a block-party feel, and there are four Kid Zones and a Local Artists Alley. Admission is free; tastings are bought on site. Lafayette is in the Lamorinda hills east of Oakland, with the downtown a short walk from the Lafayette BART station.
