Sunset Meadow Vineyards Barrel Festival is an estate wine festival held annually in Goshen, Connecticut — hosted at what the winery states is the largest vineyard in Connecticut, spanning 170 acres in the Litchfield Hills. The festival centers on new release barrel tastings, vineyard tours, live music, and vendor programming, all taking place on the grounds of a family-owned property that has been growing wine grapes since 2001 across 15 different varietals.

Sunset Meadow Vineyards has been named one of the 101 Best Wineries in America by the Daily Meal, and the Barrel Festival offers direct access to wines before they reach retail shelves. UC Davis–certified winemaker George Motel oversees all production and has crafted more than 25 unique wines from the estate. Sunset Meadow Vineyards began as a cattle and hay farm before the Motel family planted their first vines in 2001 and opened the tasting room in May 2008. Connecticut's Litchfield Hills AVA supports cold-hardy and hybrid varietals suited to the state's continental climate, and the estate's 15 grown varieties reflect that range. Wines from the vineyard are also available at package stores statewide for those who want to sample before attending.
