The story

About this festival.

The Indiana Wine Fair is a grand tasting wine festival held annually at the Story Inn in Nashville, Indiana — this year marks the 22nd edition on Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Up to 30 Indiana wineries pour one-ounce samples from noon to 6 p.m., with featured producers including Oliver Winery, Huber's Orchard, Carousel Winery, and Easley Winery. Attendees build wine cellars by purchasing bottles for carry-out while sampling Rieslings, Malbecs, and Cabernets across the grounds.

The Story Inn's 13-mile rural location in Brown County creates a scenic backdrop for the tasting. Food trucks and local vendors supply meals throughout the day. Every patron receives a complimentary Story Inn wine glass keepsake. Free shuttle service runs from nearby parking lots at the Brown County Inn and Range 46 Wine Company, with service starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 8 p.m.

Bring a valid ID proving age 21+. Folding chairs and umbrellas are welcome; pop-up tents are not. The festival proceeds rain or shine under covered areas. Free parking is available at shuttle pickup locations. Dogs on leashes are permitted. Coolers and outside food are prohibited — purchase from on-site food trucks or the Story Inn restaurant and grill.
