About this festival.

This premier culinary festival in Louisiana offers an immersive five-day celebration of regional cuisine and fine wines from around the globe. The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, hosted at the New Orleans Convention Center, welcomes over 7,000 attendees who sample offerings from more than 250 wineries and 75 local restaurants including Commander's Palace, Arnaud's, and Antoine's. Visitors enjoy unique events like the Royal Street Stroll, where participants wander through the French Quarter with wine glasses in hand, stopping at antique shops and galleries while sampling wines and chef creations. The Grand Tastings showcase the heart of the festival, featuring culinary demonstrations from celebrated local chefs, wine seminars, and opportunities to meet winemakers from prestigious vineyards. The festival has raised over $1.5 million for local non-profit organizations focused on culinary education and features live jazz performances from local musicians throughout the event. A highlight includes the Tournament of Rosés competition, where attendees taste and vote on their favorite rosé wines while enjoying spectacular views of the Mississippi River from the Convention Center's riverfront terrace.
