The story
About this festival.
Westfield Grape & Wine Festival is a free, two-day community festival in Westfield, New York, on Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19, 2026, held rain or shine across downtown at 2 East Main Street and at the Grape Discovery Center at 8305 West Main Street. The 2026 edition is the fourth annual. Westfield sits in the middle of the Lake Erie grape belt, the largest Concord grape region in the world, and the festival is built around that heritage: grape stomping competitions, grape pie contests and pie-eating contests, wines and craft beverages from the region's producers, food vendors, local artisans and live music.
Downtown, the Farmers' and Artisans' Market and Moore Park host the entertainment and competitions. At the Grape Discovery Center, interactive exhibits, grape juice tastings and demonstrations tell the story of the region's grape and wine industry. Admission is free and the event is family-oriented; wine is sold and poured for adults 21 and over.
