The story
About this festival.
Willamette Valley vintners know how to throw a party. For more than 15 years, both boutique and large wineries have dusted off their bottles, uncorked new releases, invited the public...and shared the fruits of the vine. Join us in May for the Memorial Day Weekend in Wine Country, with most wineries open between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, the event draws wine lovers from around the country to explore the hamlets and towns of Oregon’s premier Pinot Noir wine growing region. Take this opportunity to visit some of the Willamette Valley’s small, family-owned wineries often closed to visitors, as well as larger wineries and tasting rooms offering new releases, barrel tasting, gourmet food and limited quantity wines. For a wine touring map with winery listings, lodging and dining, please call the Willamette Valley Wineries Association at 503-646-2985, send an email to [email protected] or visit our website at www.willamettewines.com.
