Oregon Pinot Camp

Oregon Pinot Camp is an invitation-only, trade-focused educational wine event held annually over 4 days in the Willamette Valley, Oregon — with 52 participating wineries and just 270 camper spots available each year. Scheduled for June 22–25, 2026, the program is designed exclusively for restaurant and retail wine buyers nominated by participating wineries, making it one of the most selective professional development programs in the American wine industry.

The format spans geology seminars, variety-focused tastings, and multi-course dinners across some of the Willamette Valley's most recognized estates. Day One covers the Oregon Pinot Noir story, geology, and sense of place; Day Two focuses on biology, stylistic variation, and white wines — including a dedicated seminar on the region's Chardonnay and other whites. Each evening features a pre-dinner tasting followed by a formal dinner, with events held at venues including Vinovate and Stoller Family Estate. Day Three shifts to smaller-group winery activities chosen by each camper, closing with a street fair–style send-off in McMinnville on the morning of June 25.

The registration fee is $350, which covers all meals from Monday evening through Wednesday dinner — including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday — plus shuttle transportation to all organized events on those days. Campers are responsible for their own travel to Oregon, lodging, and transport to and from wine country on arrival and departure days. Dress is described as wine country casual, with sturdy shoes recommended for vineyard sessions.

The Willamette Valley is Oregon's most prominent wine region, best known for cool-climate Pinot Noir grown across subregions including the Dundee Hills, Chehalem Mountains, and Eola-Amity Hills AVAs. Oregon Pinot Camp draws directly on this terroir diversity, using the landscape itself as a teaching tool across its 4-day curriculum.
