The story
About this festival.
Door County Wine Fest is an annual trail wine festival held each June in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin — celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026 with more than 80 wines poured across a single afternoon. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, June 27, on the grounds of About Thyme Farm, a 150-year-old working farm in Northern Door County. General admission tickets start at $65 (purchased by December 31) and rise to $75 closer to the event; VIP tickets range from $85 to $95 depending on purchase timing. A designated driver ticket is available for $15.
Door County Wine Fest is a capped, single-day event featuring unlimited tastings from the wineries of the Door County Wine Trail, with 9 participating producers named for 2026: Anchored Roots, Lautenbach's Winery & Cider Co., Lake Fire, Simon Creek, Mixed Meadia, Door Peninsula, Von Stiehl, Door 44, and Harbor Ridge. All GA tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, live music beginning at noon, cheese samplings from Wisconsin cheesemakers courtesy of Door County Dairy Promotion, and access to 4 local food vendors on-site. VIP entry opens at 11am — one hour before general admission — and adds specially selected wine and cheese pairings from each winery plus access to a dedicated VIP lounge. Tasting closes at 4pm, with last call at 3:45pm.
There is no parking at About Thyme Farm; all attendees must arrive by shuttle or drop-off. Free shuttles run continuously from the Baileys Harbor Rec Park (2623 Summit Road), downtown Baileys Harbor, and from Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Sister Bay. Lodging guests at the Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, Baileys Grove Campground, and Baileys Bluff Campground also receive complimentary shuttle service. Because this is a capped event, day-of tickets may not be available — advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Tickets bought directly at participating member wineries carry lower fees than online purchases. The event is 21 and over, rain or shine, and no carry-ins are permitted.
Door County occupies a narrow peninsula extending into Lake Michigan in northeastern Wisconsin, and its cool-climate growing conditions have supported a cluster of small, independent wineries producing fruit-forward and cold-hardy varietal wines. The Door County Wine Trail brings these producers together under one identity, and Door County Wine Fest — now in its 10th year — serves as the trail's flagship gathering, giving attendees direct access to the winemakers themselves alongside the full range of wines produced on the peninsula.
