The story
About this festival.
San Tan Village Art & Wine Festival is a grand tasting festival held annually in Gilbert, Arizona — featuring over 100 juried artists and more than a dozen Arizona wineries across 2 days at San Tan Village, 2218 E Williams Field Rd. The second annual edition runs March 28–29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (wine pours begin at 11 a.m.), and admission and parking are free. Beer & Wine Packages start at $30 on Sunday and $35 on Saturday, each including a wine glass and 10 tastings.
San Tan Village Art & Wine Festival is produced by Vermillion Promotions and Arizona Wine Country, combining a juried fine art show with Arizona wine tastings and live music in an open-air shopping and dining complex. The art component spans paintings, sculptures, ceramics, metal work, mixed media, hand-blown glass, handcrafted jewelry, and fine photography — all original works from over 100 participating artists. On the wine side, more than a dozen of Arizona's top wineries pour throughout the weekend, giving attendees a broad survey of the state's emerging wine regions. Additional tasting tickets are available in blocks of 5 for $10. The festival's host charity is Horses Help, an organization that provides therapeutic and recreational horsemanship to individuals facing physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges, including at-risk youth and military populations.
The festival is all-ages and rain-or-shine, with no charge to enter the grounds or the Beer & Wine Garden for non-drinkers and designated drivers. Alcoholic beverages are served only to wristband holders who have purchased a package. Packages are available for purchase online in advance. Saturday packages are priced at $35 and Sunday packages at $30, making a two-day visit easy to plan around budget. Parking is free on-site at San Tan Village.
Many of the wineries pouring at this festival draw their grapes from the Willcox AVA, a federally recognized American Viticultural Area in southeastern Arizona that produces approximately 74% of the state's wine grapes. Vineyards there sit at elevations of 4,200 feet and above, where warm days, cool nights, and monsoon-season moisture create growing conditions that distinguish Arizona wines from those of other desert-climate regions.
