The story
About this festival.
The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One is a national food and wine festival held annually over 4 days in Miami Beach, Florida — drawing over 500 culinary experts and spanning more than 105 events across the February 19–22, 2026 run. Known by its shorthand SOBEWFF®, the festival began as a single-day event called the Florida Extravaganza at FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus and has grown into a multi-day destination that attracts Food Network personalities, sommeliers, celebrity chefs, and wine and spirits producers from across the country.
The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One features signature events including the Grand Tasting Village, Burger Bash, Dinner events, Best of the Best, and Foodiecon, with programming spread across Wednesday through Sunday. The talent roster for 2026 includes Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, Alex Guarnaschelli, Kardea Brown, Marc Murphy, Maneet Chauhan, Esther Choi, and DJ Cassidy, among more than 500 participating experts. Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, the festival's exclusive host and beverage provider, operates in 44 U.S. states and brings its portfolio to the event as the primary beverage partner.
Ticket pricing for 2026 had not been announced at the time of publication, but the festival organizes events by day and category — including Capital One Exclusives, Signature Events, and a dedicated $100 & Under tier — making it possible to build a schedule across price points. Each year, more than 1,500 students from Florida International University's Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management gain hands-on experience working the festival, which functions as a live educational platform for future hospitality professionals. Visitors should check the official site at sobewff.org for ticket releases, hotel partnerships, transit and parking guidance, bag policy details, and ADA accommodations.
All net proceeds from the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One benefit the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, with cumulative fundraising surpassing $45 million to date. That charitable mission distinguishes SOBEWFF® from most food and wine festivals of comparable scale — every ticket purchase directly supports hospitality education in South Florida.
